Georgie Lilgreen

Georgie Lilgreen is a Wilderness Survival and Ethnobotany instructor. She grew up in a Native village in Southeast Alaska where living off the land was the way of life and is from the Tlingit Clan.. one of her passions is to restore balance to the land and to the people through a reconnecting.

She will be teaching how to make useful tools like spoons and bowls using fire as well as going over water purification in emergency situations, how to make cordage and yarn from natural fibres, baskets from natural materials and going over plants used for food, medicine and their utilitarian uses. She will also be talking about how knowing the skills of our ancestors can bring a greater sense of wellbeing to your life.
