Les ClaypoolLes Claypool is a singer, lyricist, bassist, multi-instrumentalist, and composer, best known for his work with the alternative rock band Primus. Whatever name-combos Les wants to drop are fine, but they still don’t fully prepare you for the cranial-flexing charm that is Fungi. The percolating rhythm magic of “Mushroom Men” wouldn’t sound out of place in a techno club, sandwiched between French electro-wunderkind Mr. Oizo and old-school industrial pounders Test Department. |

CocoRosieCocoRosie's fascination with combining things that clash continues to drive their process in both song and production. Their current creative environments range from hi-fi studios to simple field recordings (i.e. dolphin and whale sounds). Some inspirations to their hearts at the moment are Cher, Beethoven and finding true love's kiss. Experiencing CocoRosie is akin to exploring spiritual dance music, driven by oceanic and apocalyptic themes though harps and grand pianos. |

Os MutantesIn a career transformed by military coup into Brazilian activism with the Tropicalia movement, Os Mutantes crafted a distinctive, riotous, and modern sound experimenting with homemade instruments, studio effects, traditional forms of Brazilian music, field recordings, and unorthodox song structures and time signatures. 2009 sees Os Mutantes release their first new recordings in over 30 years on Sept 8 on ANTI Records with a record that promises a vibrant and timely return from one of the world's most unique, creative, and psychedelic artists. |

Yard Dogs Road ShowThe Yard Dogs Road Show is a hobo cabaret, a living patchwork of vaudeville and rock and roll. In the enchanting land of stage show entertainment theirs is both pleasant and formidable terrain. They require a sensitivity to the subtle and the absurd. It’s a true story on stage: sword swallowers, dancing dolls, fire eaters and sunset hobo poetry - all animated by the live sounds of the Yard Dogs cartoon heavy band. Yard Dogs Road Show is pure visual and sonic voodoo. |

Amon TobinSomewhere back in the mid-90's a fresh faced Brazilian ex-pat living in the UK decided he was going to put down his harmonica & pick up a sampler. Tobin's passion for the sampler altered his path away from university to focus on music. Today we get to bask in the resonance of that decision as drum'n'bass deviant Amon Tobin fuses hip-hop and jazz compositional ideas with the bustling rhythms of hip-hop and jungle and the bent sonic mayhem of ambient and dub. |

BassnectarBassnectar combines sound and force with weight while spanning the spectrum of sonic style, covering every genre imaginable, and smashing it all into a collision of wobbling, perverted basslines, hypnotic hide-and-seek adventures, and pretty much anything that strikes his fancy. He calls the end product "omnitempo maximalism," which basically means no rules, no limitations, and no hesitation in fusing the familiar with the strange or the classic with the cutting edge. |
